Providing Reminders and Education Prior to Lung Screening (PREP)
About the Study
The main purpose of this study is to:
Figure out the best way to help patients learn more about lung screening (CT or CAT scan)
Help patients feel ready to talk with their doctor about lung screening and other health topics
By participating, you will help us learn more about lung screening awareness and utilization.
Eligibility
To be eligible for this study, you must:
Be a MedStar primary care patient with an upcoming appointment
Be between the ages of 50 to 80
Currently be smoking or quit within the past 15 years
Have a long history of smoking
Study Participation
This study occurs over the phone and requires 1-2 hours of your time. You can receive up to $50 in gift cards as compensation for your time.
